In 2005, the Greenfingers Appeal was chosen to endorse Spellbound® Trailing Busy Lizzie, to raise money for the charity. This will continue into 2006 and as a result, a Children’s Hospice in the UK will have a new garden built. Every purchase of Spellbound® helps S&G Flowers build ‘The Greenfingers Appeal Magical Childrens Hospice Gardens’, the first of which will be built in Blackpool and opened on April 6th 2006.

The appeal raises money for the maintenance, provision and enhancement of children’s hospice gardens and grounds. Whilst typically the children are too ill to become actively involved, the grounds of a hospice can play a vital role as a place of peace, solitude and calm for parents, siblings, friends and relations.
